"Desirous" is an old English word used during14th century according to Merriam - Webster Dictionary. "Desirous" means "wanting or wishing for something very much: feeling desire for something". (Google Internet) We all have desires. We have spiritual desires, fleshly desires, physical desires, and a very personal desires. What or Who do you desire to have or be be with?
