I Corinthians 15:3- 5- “3- For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4- And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: 5- And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve:
Christmas opened the door to Christ’s death on the cross of Calvary. The cross of Calvary closed the door to the Old Testament laws and ceremonial laws. The burial of Jesus Christ in the tomb was the burial of sin and the sting of death with Him for 3 days. Christ’s resurrection opened up the grave for the saints and for our salvation. One day the heaven's gate will open up for all His saints during the rapture. (I Thessalonians 4:13- 18; Acts 1:8- 10) What have we done for Him? He suffered, He paid the price of sin, He prepared the place for us in heaven; what do we have for Him? Do you please God and are you willing to serve Him? He’s given his all, what can you render unto the Lord? Apostle Paul wrote: “1- I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2- And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” (Romans 12:1- 2)
