Acts 1:1- 11
“2- Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen: 3- To whom also he showed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:” We worship the same God and we were saved by the blood of the Lamb. What is our responsibility as a Christian? We need to do what we have to do. Apostle Luke said; “…through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles…”Do you have the guilt feelings when you see the lost living in poverty? Don't feel guilty. As a disciple of the Lord, we have to accept the responsibility Jesus has given us. We have to help those who are in needs and the greatest need of those people who lives in poverty is the Lord Jesus Christ. Do you display the power of God by being willing to do what He commanded us to do? Do you let the Holy Spirit work in you and through you by your presence in the mission field? People need Jesus today and Jesus wants us to step out of our comfort zone and be a witness. Do you have a clear idea that we are supposed to care for the lost souls? Jesus set the example for us to follow. “But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:” (Philippians 2:7)
