Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 1:1 KJV
[1] The proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel;

David was the greatest king that ever lived. He is the most revered king in the history of Israel. Kings are the ones who control the kingdom and its people. There are kings in our lives that we must know; we must or need to get rid of, or embrace and love.

I- The king or kings in our personal hearts and lives. a) Sin b) Selfishness c) Satan- Psalm 81:12 KJV [12] So I gave them up unto their own hearts' lust: and they walked in their own counsels. (Daniel 11:27; Mark 7:21- 23)

II- The king or kings that people hope for, and live for... 1 Kings 20:31 KJV [31] And his servants said unto him, Behold now, we have heard that the kings of the house of Israel are merciful kings: let us, I pray thee, put sackcloth on our loins, and ropes upon our heads, and go out to the king of Israel: peradventure he will save thy life. (II Kings 3:10- 23)

III- The King of kings and Lord of hosts- Revelation 19:16 KJV [16] And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS. (Revelation 7:14; I Timothy 6:15)- By Ely Roque Sagansay
