Wisdom of the Day from Mi Daily Devotion

"A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold." (Proverbs 22:1 KJV)

Notice the words "great riches" in this verse. When you talk or hear someone say about "great riches"; what and who do you have in mind? In the Scriptures; we can read of prophets, and men and women of God talk about "great riches". Jesus Himself talk about riches, treasures, and wealth.

Moses in the book of Hebrews was mentioned in regards to the great riches and his good and right choices. "25- Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; 26- Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward." (Hebrews 11:25- 26 KJV)- By Ely Roque Sagansay
