Wisdom of the Day from Mi Daily Devotion

"The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion." (Proverbs 28:1 KJV)

Fleeing has several reasons and purposes. The Bible recorded some of the people, kings, prophets, and even the First family-Mary, Joseph, and Jesus when king Herod was eager to have the Messiah be in his hand dead or alive. (Matthew 2:1- 23) But we all know it did not happen or we will never celebrate Christmas at all since those times. Why do people flee? Some are running for their life or a threat is eminent.

Unfortunately, some people flee from the shadow of fear because of the bad decisions, poor judgment, fear of retribution and wicked things that they have done. Some may flee or run for fear of the shadows of sin. The best time to flee is when you're tempted or sin is too good to embrace. The Bible says; "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." (2 Timothy 1:7 KJV)- By Ely Roque Sagansay
