Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 31:1 KJV
"The words of king Lemuel, the prophecy that his mother taught him."

"Words" are good when said in tune with God's Word; but could be disappointing and discouraging, when it's cheap and full of non sense. May we identify the meaning of pleasant conversation, the truth of what the world need to know for their true conversion.

It doesn't have to be poetic or flowery; but its elements must be true and descent, but one thing for sure, the essence of the message will always make sense. The words of wisdom- the world may want to read. For we know it's in God's Word, that brings them transformation.

A poetry is good like in God our abode, but no one will know, unless they will hear from His Word. For this I know; the truth and the life that the Lord have in stored, in every man's heart and life, as they trust Him through His Word.

May you come to Him and cling to salvation's free, you don't have to pay for in Him God did pay. It was at Calvary, Jesus laid down His life to pay; its for your sins and forgiveness, therefore accept Him today! - By Ely Roque Sagansay

Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 30:1 KJV
"The words of Agur the son of Jakeh, even the prophecy: the man spake unto Ithiel, even unto Ithiel and Ucal,"

"Man" is a created being, who failed God in the garden of Eden. It was the saddest day for God, after He created everything! On the seventh day (may be) "man" was frail; instead of serving God in worship, Adam and Eve played with the enemy.

How similar to what we're doing today. We work, and play, we eat and sometimes we sleep. And then on the seventh day we grab and rob God for what He deserve. Thus we try to be like Adam and Eve who played with the enemy.

May we then learn to be a man and a woman who pray. This may sound like a poem or an essay to thee. But one thing for sure- let me say; Christians must live for God and serve and worship Him, because that's the purpose man was created to be! - By Ely Roque Sagansay

Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 29:1 KJV
"He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy."

"Remedy" is one of the things that people will try do or use to any problems this world will offer. Yes, there is always remedy for everything, to everyone, and to any circumstances and situations in life. But there is no remedy for our sins and its consequences. Jesus is the only answer to the sin problem. He is the only remedy to our deep spiritual depravity. The Bible says; Romans 6:23 KJV "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Apostle Paul wrote; Romans 5:15 KJV "But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many." - By Ely Roque Sagansay

Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 28:1 KJV
"The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion."

"Flee!" It's a word we used for the cowardly individual. But it's a strong and good word to practice for Christians when faced with temptation and enticing things and moment. Here's a good acronym for F- L- E - E

Flee from Fleshly sin and lust. (I Peter 2:11)

Lust is of the devil. It will make you enjoy such for a moment and destroy or kill you at the end. (I John 2:16- 17)

Evil and it's from the enemy. Therefore don't be deceived of Satan's prey. (Ephesians 6:13; Colossians 3:5)

Enticing to everybody. Remember, Satan will not spare you from sinning and he will not stop from enticing you to sin against God. (Colossians 2:4) Read Genesis chapter three.  - By Ely Roque Sagansay

Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 27:1 KJV
"Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth."

"Tomorrow" may be dark or bright to you. A new life to someone you know. It's a future to the man who saw the light from heaven to draw, a bright future for you to look into.

Others have lost their "tomorrow", when they dropped their hope in the ocean of sorrow.
I dare you to stay focus on today, don't dwell in your yesterday, I suggest you just be happy.

The book of proverbs say; "Boast not thyself of tomorrow"; because the writer knows it's either great or defeat, a blessing or a pain to anybody. - My advice to you is to live your life, love God and trust Him of your tomorrow! - By Ely Roque Sagansay

Proverbs 26:1 KJV
"As snow in summer, and as rain in harvest, so honour is not seemly for a fool."

"Honour" is similar to respect, but opposite to love; honor and respect can only be gain by the way we conduct ourselves to others, but love can be shared or given to us even if we don't deserve such. In the New Testament, Jesus teaches honor when He talked about the honor He gave to His Father in heaven. (John 8:49 KJV) "Jesus answered, I have not a devil; but I honour my Father, and ye do dishonour me." Apostle Paul reminded us to give honor to whom honor is due. He wrote; (Romans 13:7 KJV) "Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due ; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour." - By Ely Roque Sagansay

Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 25:1 KJV
"These are also proverbs of Solomon, which the men of Hezekiah king of Judah copied out."

Not many people will name their new born baby "Hezekiah". But millions have already been named "Paul" or "James." The name  "Paul" means "Small or Little" and the name "James" means "Jacob or deceiver, or supplanter or undermine". "Hezekiah" means "Strength of the Lord". We like good sound names but we however overlooked its meaning. It's the same way we treated books, people, and sometimes food - if it doesn't look good or sounds good; we either ignore it or won't even bother to check on it. King Hezekiah's name may not be pleasant to our ears, but we can see the strength of the Lord" and His power in his life. Read (II Kings chapters 18- 20). - By Ely Roque Sagansay

Proverbs 24:1 KJV
"Be not thou envious against evil men, neither desire to be with them."

You will not believe what Vocabulary.com says about envy- "Envious is another way to say jealous or resentful — in other words, you want what someone else has, whether it's charming good looks or the last chocolate frosted donut. Once upon a time, envious meant “eager to emulate.” Now a days this adjective is used to describe covetous feelings or a state of painful desire." This sounds like a definition from a preacher or theologian. Envy destroys, it kills, it brings confusion, gossip, judgmental spirit, separates both relationship with God and man. It makes one unhappy and unfulfilled. The Bible says; (Psalm 37:1 KJV)
"Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity." - By Ely Roque Sagansay

Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

  Proverbs 23:1 KJV
"When thou sittest to eat with a ruler, consider diligently what is before thee:"

Who is your ruler? Or what really rules your life? An atheist man was outraged about the Christian who tried to persuade him to trust God. He said this to the Christian; "Why God would force everyone to live for Him, worship Him, and serve Him on earth and in heaven?" God rules the universe and He can rule our lives if He wanted to; but God gave us the freedom and free will to choose. We can exercise such in love, worship, and service; not only to God but to Satan, to man, or to things and pleasures. When we asked God to come into our hearts by faith- we then been ruled by the Holy Spirit and our service to God is an honor, opportunity, and a blessing. Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 22:1 KJV
"A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold."

The word "good" is one of the best word to see either before your full name or after it, unless your last name is "Good". I believe when Jesus said; (Mark 10:18 KJV) "And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is , God." Indeed only God is good. You may change your name, but the original name that has been linked to the same "you" will not change. Your good name or bad name will always be remembered no matter where you are and what you have in life. The great thing is that the name of Jesus will always be the name above all names. - (Philippians 2:10 KJV) "That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;" - By Ely Roque Sagansay

ABC's for DONALD TRUMP

ABC's for Donald Trump

I am not a Republican, and will never be a Democrat. I am a conservative Christian who just want to play fair. This is not an endorsement. I have read some of the books Mr. Donald Trump has written, I acquired some of the ideas about him (Donald Trump) based on his books.

A- action, he is a man of action.
B- business- he is great in business. We need to open our country to investors. And I believe Trump can invite more investors to invest in our country, and not take the businesses out of our country.
C- courage. It is very obvious in his remarks against ISIS and other terrorist groups, and illegal immigrants. We need someone like Trump who can lead the world.
D- deal maker. Obviously Mr. Trump is a deal maker. He expanded his multi billion dollar businesses with enormous success.
E- education and enthusiasm. I believe we need to improve our educational system. Trump is not very vocal about our educational system but he is always fired up for improvement.
F- faith. He is a very religious person. In spite of his power and success; he recognize the existence of a Supreme being- God. He might not sound theologically Biblical because he is not a theologian, but for me "Two Corinthians..." is better than Quran.
G- game player. He can play golf but hopefully he will not use the taxes (people's money) to play...
H- helpful. The Trump family had been very active in charities. I heard a lot about Trump's generosity.
I- investor. Mr. Trump invested millions of dollars nationwide. As president, you should be good in bringing in investors to boost the economy.
J- job maker. Mr. Trump may have created more jobs than any of the presidential candidates in the history of this country.
K- knowledgeable. His knowledge in business, in politics, foreign policy, etc. will make him a great president. I read his books, and I can tell you this- Donald Trump is smart.
L- leader. Mr. Trump will not make it in business if he don't have an excellent leadership.
M- manner. Professional, with great ethical- manner and decorum.
N- nice. He is nice on good people, tough on criminals and terrorists.
O- outspoken. He don't have any hidden agenda from the inside. Although sometimes he overboard.
P- powerful. Donald Trump is powerful in many business sectors, and makes some powerful speeches.
Q- qualified. In terms of leadership style; leading a huge business empire and leading the smart and successful investors and business people are an excellent signs of a strong leadership.
R- resourceful. Be it at home or abroad;?Trump resources and resourcefulness is out of question.
S- starter. He is a good starter and consistent with what he started.
T- truthful. He don't flip flops or say something but do the other thing. He is straightforward.
U- unstoppable. ISIS, Russia, Hillary, or Obama or the drug cartel can't stop him.
V- visionary. He is a man with vision for our country and its future. We need a leader who has the vision to eliminate the criminals and terrorists, and a man with the vision to make America great again.
W- winner. It's obvious in his life, in his business dealings, and in his business, and current flow of his campaign.
X- x- rated is as bad as allowing abortion, prostitution, and planned parenthood harvesting of babies' body parts; for sure Donald Trump is against such...
Y- yield to traditional values, yield to constitution, and the teaching of the Bible.
Z- zealous.

Proverbs 21:1 KJV
"The king's heart is in the hand of the Lord , as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will."

Kingdoms of Saudi Arabia, Thailand, and United Kingdom, and other kingdoms in the world have kings, prince and princess, and queen. They reign with great respect and responsibility. When they speak, they are careful with the words they use, and they don't make inappropriate jokes and they avoid using bad words. They reign here on earth for a while. Death or coup d'etat may cease their throne and power. Thank God; Jesus Christ is the Prince of Peace, He is the King of kings and Lord of Lords. He reigns from everlasting to everlasting. No one can take Him down or take Him out of His throne. - (Revelation 19:16 KJV) "And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS ." - By Ely Roque Sagansay

Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 20:1 KJV
"Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise."

I used to work for one of the largest International company with a huge home based here in Michigan. And I was fortunate to meet people of all race, different backgrounds, status in life, and educational attainment. One of them was a graduate from Harvard university with PH.D. And you may not believe me if I will tell you that this African - American man who is highly intellectual and educated (became my friend and co- worker) end up working as a lift driver. Is it wrong or bad to work as a lift driver? No! Not at all. But he could have been in one of the big offices or cubicle using his PH.D. as his stepping stone to a higher position or success in life. What happened? Wine and liquor destroyed his life, his family, his mind set, his perspective in life, his mind, and his dreams... He was mocked and deceived by wine.  Read (Proverbs 21: 17; 31: 6) - By Ely Roque Sagansay

Proverbs 19:1 KJV
"Better is the poor that walketh in his integrity, than he that is perverse in his lips, and is a fool."

I - Integrity is one of the lasting legacy
     parents will leave their children.
The fear of God must come first.

N - Never under- estimate integrity, it's your
       greatest resume.

T - Temptation may come your way, trust the
Lord that you may not fall into the devil's
prey. Satan is out to destroy your
       integrity.

E - Examine yourself if you are still in the
in line with Jesus and His Word.

G - Guide your heart and be sure to have
someone to guide you. Let the Holy
Spirit and His holy Word guide you
all the time to help you live your life with
       Integrity.

R - Reject all offer that will destroy your
Integrity and dignity... If it will lead
you to sin and keep you out of the
rail; then probably that is not the
will of God for you. His righteousness
and His holiness must prevail. If it will put
a spot or stain in your integrity- don't go
      for it.

I - Inspire others with your life of integrity.
     Financial success and other successes
in life will someday be gone, but integrity

Y - Yield yourself to God and to His Word.

Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 18:1 KJV
"Through desire a man, having separated himself, seeketh and intermeddleth with all wisdom."

When you hear someone say; "Separated"; you may automatically think of marriage, family, job or friends. But if it's about the Scriptures; I may think of sin who separates us from God. Adam and Eve were put away from the garden of Eden, and they were separated from the Lord our God after they yielded themselves to Satan's temptation. (Genesis 3:23- 24) Anyone can be separated from Satan to God, and be separated from sin to holiness or sanctification, or from being self- centered to Christ- centered. Christians must be separated from worldly lusts and desires. Apostle Paul wrote; (Romans 12:2 KJV) "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." - By Ely Roque Sagansay

Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 17:1 KJV
"Better is a dry morsel, and quietness therewith, than an house full of sacrifices with strife."

"Quietness" is a vague word or it's a very general word in terms of its meaning, and point of subject. Quietness for me could mean rest - rest of our soul from certain struggle or trials. Quietness may mean peace of mind to many. A country at war, in power struggle, in political distress or unrest, and unstable need quietness. We need quietness and we need to be quite. We want our home to have quietness. (Ecclesiastes 4:6 KJV) "Better is an handful with quietness, than both the hands full with travail and vexation of spirit." Apostle Paul wrote; (2 Thessalonians 3:12 KJV) "Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread." - By Ely Roque Sagansay

Thank God for Your Family and Fellowship- Thanksgiving Video

Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

"Proverbs 16:1 KJV
"The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the Lord ."

The etymology of "tongue" according to Wikipedia - "The word tongue derives from the Old Englishtunge, which comes from Proto-Germanic*tungōn." This small human body part is amazing and full of miracles. It has the power to identify all kinds of food through its taste buds. Years ago my dentist informed me that tongue is one of dirtiest part of our body. It's also one of the dangerous... It sends good and bad signals, it relays fear, and releases all kinds of information as the brain and heart work in coordination to move the tongue and spread what's hidden in the inner man. The book of James says; (James 3:5 KJV) "Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!" Read James chapter three. - By Ely Roque Sagansay

Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 15:1 KJV
"A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger."

What is the meaning of grievous in modern terminology? The word "Grievous" is an old English word which means harsh in the NIV Bible translation. Be not harsh in your words when someone is on the top of anger! According to Merriam-Webster.com- Dictionary - "Grievous" means "causing or characterized by severe pain, suffering, or sorrow <a grievous wound> <a grievousloss>". One may think that to answer an angry person with grievous words will pacify its anger by imposing fear. A grave threat will not make an angry soul slow down and set low his or her anger, nor will it make him or her cease from expressing rage. Therefore, it's wiser to count from 1 to 10 in your mind before you drop your first word with anger. - By Ely Roque Sagansay

Mi Daily Devotion

Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 14:1 KJV
"Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands."

When God first mentioned "woman" in the Scriptures, He was thinking about the man He created. God then created the woman from the ribs of the man (Adam), and He called the woman "Eve" for she was taken from the man. (Genesis 2:21 - 22 KJV) "[21] And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; [22] And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man." No one can change, alter, or recreate what God created in the beginning. There must not be in - between. It must only be either you're a man or a woman. And a wise woman will always be there to build a great home. - By Ely Roque Sagansay

Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 12:1 KJV
[1] Whoso loveth instruction loveth knowledge: but he that hateth reproof is brutish.

The word "loveth" was mentioned twice in this verse, while hateth was mentioned due to brutish who refused reproof. Anyone can identify oneself on which side of the fence he or she might be standing on. A person who loves instruction loves knowledge, and vice versa. But for sure, anyone who is brutish, or hates reproof has no time for instruction and knowledge. Consequently, these kinds of people (who lack knowledge, instructions, and hate reproof) are doomed to pain, sorrow, and poverty, both in wisdom and economic condition in life. (Proverbs 15:12 KJV) "A scorner loveth not one that reproveth him: neither will he go unto the wise." - By Ely Roque Sagansay

Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 11:1 KJV
"A false balance is abomination to the Lord : but a just weight is his delight."

"Delight" is the most used and common word in many Christian churches at the start of the New Year. The reason for that is because of the scheduled "Heart's Desire Sunday" that they set aside for the said purpose - to delight in God in order to obtain your desire or desires in life. It's a special Sunday where many Christians write their heart's desire for the year or years to come and pray for it. What does it (the desire) has to do with delight? The answer is what David wrote; (Psalm 37:4 KJV) "Delight thyself also in the Lord ; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart." Read Romans 19:1. - By Ely Roque Sagansay

Random Ideas for Pastors and Christian Churches

I was sharing this to my wife on our way to church. A church that does not make a BUZZ is either a church that need revival, a dying church or a dead church.

In entertainment industry; actors, actresses, and producers or film makers here in the USA spend a good amount of dollars for good and bad publicity. They spend so much money for promotions such as TV ads or mass media to make a BUZZ. One of the goal is to win the hearts and minds of the people to buy their products- their movie, film or music.

The church don't need good and bad publicity to make a BUZZ, but it needs to do its job and responsibilities to make a difference, to make an impact and influence in it's small world with the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

We need to follow the examples of Jesus and the Apostles. We need to exercise what the church and the Christians in the book of Acts (specifically chapters 1 to 5) put into practiced: 1- Pray, 2- Preach, teach, witness, testify in the name of Christ. 3- Study the Word. (Public and Private Devotion and Meditation) 4- Serve others, 5- Gave themselves and their offerings, 6- Remember the widows and the less fortunate, 7- Pray for the sick... (Hospital visitation)

I noticed that type of music, Bible translations or form of worship was not even the factor of their growth.

If your church or if a Christian church is not into this- I will not be surprise if the church you are in right now is not making a BUZZ or it's not growing. - By Ely Roque Sagansay

Proverbs 10:1 KJV
"The proverbs of Solomon. A wise son maketh a glad father: but a foolish son is the heaviness of his mother."

Do you have heaviness? Do you have a heavy heart? Heaviness is a word that really scares people just think of it... But heaviness could be profitable for us and others if it's from the Lord. For example, If I say; "I have heaviness in my heart due to my heart desire to carry out the burden that God laid down in my heart for his work and people." Therefore "heaviness" is not always negative or bad. The sad part- (Psalm 69:20 KJV) "Reproach hath broken my heart; and I am full of heaviness: and I looked for some to take pity, but there was none; and for comforters, but I found none." The good part, heaviness can cause us to humble ourselves. (Proverbs 12:25 KJV) "Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad." - By Ely Roque Sagansay

Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 9:1 KJV
"Wisdom hath builded her house, she hath hewn out her seven pillars:"

The word "hewn" was beautifully defined in YourDictionary.com- "The definition of hewn is something chiseled or shaped with a tool.
  1. An example of something hewn is a stone marker chiseled from a large rock. verb Hewn is defined as to have made, shaped or cut. a. Having made a pottery bowl is an example of hewn. b. Having cut down a tree is an example of hewn."
We were told by the Lord Jesus Christ to abide in Him because of our frailty and our flaws. He understand our weakness. Jesus said; (John 15:5 KJV) "I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing." Read the whole chapter fifteen of the book of John. - By Ely Roque Sagansay

Salvation is Built in...

Salvation is built in love, faith, and trust. It was the love of God the Father that made Jesus died on the cross for every human beings. It is our faith to God the Father and our faith to His Son and to His death, burial, and resurrection. When we turned back from our sin, He made us His children. God entrust to us  His name- "Jesus Christ". Therefore we bear His name wherever we are, and every time we confess, proclaim, and proudly declare we're "CHRISTians". When you become one (Christian), you have to live up with that name. That's what made Christianity different from Muslims, Jews, and other religions.

Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 8:1 KJV
"Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice?"

I believe the word "voice" was first mentioned in the Bible in the book of (Genesis 3:8 KJV) "And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden." We talk, we sing, we shout and yell, but failed to realize or hear God's small voice. We wanna be heard, but we don't listen. We either ignore God's small voice or we just want to have a deaf ear of what God has been telling us. Moses wrote; (Exodus 18:19 KJV) "Hearken now unto my voice, I will give thee counsel, and God shall be with thee: Be thou for the people to God-ward, that thou mayest bring the causes unto God:" Read (Deuteronomy 15:5). - By Ely Roque Sagansay

Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 7:1 KJV "My son, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with thee."

It has a special significant why the word "MY" was mentioned by the writer of the book of proverbs, not once but 3 times. King Solomon personally instructed his son in the flesh as well as his son in the spirit when he wrote this part of his proverbs. "My son..." was a personal address to someone dear to him. He has 2 purposes when he addressed these words to his dear son; to keep his words of wisdom from the Lord, and to lay up his (Solomon) commandments with him - his son. The Lord's desire is for us to keep His Words- the Bible, and observe His commandments all our lives. This could be the reason why we need to keep His commandments; (Matthew 19:17 KJV) "And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is , God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments." - By Ely Roque Sagansay

Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 6:1 KJV
"My son, if thou be surety for thy friend, if thou hast stricken thy hand with a stranger,"

A "friend" is someone you can trust. We have what we called; once a friend, my friend, our friend, a good friend, and my best friend. A friend will always be a friend in good times and in bad times. But Jesus is the ONLY friend who will not leave us nor forsake us. He will not change though we changed. He is not ashamed of us if we fall and fail. We've deserted him but He remain faithful. Our friends or love ones may turn their back from us, but Jesus will still be the same. He will always be a friend that never fails. Jesus said; (John 15:15 KJV) "Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you." The song says; "What a Friend We Have in Jesus". The Bible says; (John 15:13 KJV) "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." - By Ely Roque Sagansay

Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 5:1 KJV
"My son, attend unto my wisdom, and bow thine ear to my understanding:"

The word "My" in this verse was mentioned 3 times. It all refers to treasures money can't buy- "son" "wisdom" and "understanding". You can have all the money in the world, but those 3 treasures cannot be obtained with money. They are God's gift and blessings to man. I have met people with wealth but they have to seek the wisdom of the Godly. This was not selfish when the writer talked to his son about wisdom and understanding. We listen to the voice of wisdom and understanding - the voice of God. Jesus said; (John 10:3 KJV) "To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out." - By Ely Roque Sagansay

Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 4:1 KJV "Hear, ye children, the instruction of a father, and attend to know understanding."

As parents, "children" are our most valuable assets in life. As we grow with our children in maturity, we surely experienced the struggles, but we cannot deny the joy, the happiness, the great and countless  memories we wish would never end. We also realized that they will only be ours for a certain period of time, because one day, they will have to make decisions for themselves. They will choose to live (all their life) with someone they love as husband or wife, and have their own family - the truth parents can't deny. Children are God's gift to parents to enjoy, shape up, train, educate, feed, etc. The Bible says; (Psalm 127:3 KJV) "Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord : and the fruit of the womb is his reward." - By Ely Roque Sagansay

Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 3:1 KJV "My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:"

The "Law" of the land must rule over any power and people. Some lawmakers becomes lawbreakers for their personal interest. Without proper execution and  implementation of the law; corruption, disorderly conduct both of the citizenry and people in the government will be rampant. We have the law of the land, and the law from God (the Bible) that must be obeyed and exercise. It is not a prerogative but an imperative for everyone to follow and obey the rules and the law - be it Federal law, State or Provinces' law, community law, City ordinances, and God's law. The psalmist wrote about the law of Israel and of God; (Psalm 81:4 KJV) "For this was a statute for Israel, and a law of the God of Jacob." - By Ely Roque Sagansay

Proverbs 2:1 KJV
"My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee;"

"Hide" it in your heart and mind... You can hide from the law, but you can't hide from God. You may hide your bad conscience and conviction, but you can't hide (your less of courage to stand up) from God. May we only hide good things for a good purpose. We can hide the ugliness of an individual with make ups, mask him or her and put a nice clothes on, but you cannot hide the bad attitudes. One day, be it in good times or bad times- the inner man or woman will come out. It will reveal or manifest the real man or woman. The Psalmist wrote; (Psalm 119:11 KJV) "Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee." - By Ely Roque Sagansay
