Proverbs 23:1 KJV
"When thou sittest to eat with a ruler, consider diligently what is before thee:"
Who is your ruler? Or what really rules your life? An atheist man was outraged about the Christian who tried to persuade him to trust God. He said this to the Christian; "Why God would force everyone to live for Him, worship Him, and serve Him on earth and in heaven?" God rules the universe and He can rule our lives if He wanted to; but God gave us the freedom and free will to choose. We can exercise such in love, worship, and service; not only to God but to Satan, to man, or to things and pleasures. When we asked God to come into our hearts by faith- we then been ruled by the Holy Spirit and our service to God is an honor, opportunity, and a blessing.
