Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 26:1 KJV
"As snow in summer, and as rain in harvest, so honour is not seemly for a fool."

"Honour" is similar to respect, but opposite to love; honor and respect can only be gain by the way we conduct ourselves to others, but love can be shared or given to us even if we don't deserve such. In the New Testament, Jesus teaches honor when He talked about the honor He gave to His Father in heaven. (John 8:49 KJV) "Jesus answered, I have not a devil; but I honour my Father, and ye do dishonour me." Apostle Paul reminded us to give honor to whom honor is due. He wrote; (Romans 13:7 KJV) "Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due ; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour." - By Ely Roque Sagansay
