“ALTHOUGH THE FIG TREE SHALL NOT BLOSSOM…”
(Habbakkuk 3:17- 19) 17- Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: 18- Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation. 19- The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.”
Can you rejoice in the Lord in spite of difficulties? Will you still serve Him even when the ministry is not going in the direction that you wanted it to be and you have difficulties in the work of the Lord and on your own perspective? Would you still love Him even if your bank account is drained already and the pots and the plates on your table are empty?
Charles Haddon Spurgeon once said; “From whence can God relieve my care? Remember that Omnipotence has servants everywhere. His method is sublime; His heart profoundly kind. God never is before His time and never is behind.” (Morning by Morning, page 226)
(Romans 8:28) “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
