THE BIBLE SEVEN ELEVEN PRINCIPLES

MI DAILY DEVOTION 07- 07- 11
THE BIBLE SEVEN ELEVEN PRINCIPLES
(Matthew 7:7; 11) 7- “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 11- If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?”
Today is July 07, 2011 which would be 07-07-11 and our text and topic speaks for itself. Christians must call to God consistently. Paul put it this way: “Pray without ceasing.” Prayer is the means of communication for Christians to use to usher their concern to the throne of Heaven. Our responsibility is to call. (Jeremiah 33:3) “Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.” We have people who would not dare to lift up the phone and call for help. Yes it’s ironic, but that is true. We are just a prayer away from the Lord or answer to our prayers; but we’re either self-sufficient, doubtful and have the spirit of prayerlessness. We want God’s touch, but we don’t want our knees to touch the floor as we humble ourselves before God in prayer. (II Chronicles 7:14) “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
