Proverbs 2:1 KJV
"My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee;"
The word "Receive" gives a person tingling or excitement. It's one of the best word to hear especially if it's good and positive. For me, it's next to "free". We like to receive free stuff. Those two words if put together could make your day, or even years of goodness favorable unto eternity. However, it's only possible if it's about God, His Word- the Holy Bible or if you accept the free gift of salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ. How serious would you be of receiving a special gift from God? "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
