Proverbs 21:1 KJV
"The king's heart is in the hand of the Lord , as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will."
Kings are rulers of kingdoms. In the Scriptures; kings were God's appointed, and some were God's chosen people. Some of the kings in the Bible sowed fears, others did evil to their people, many were good and great kings like David and Solomon, while some were murderers like Pharaoh who knew not Joseph. (Daniel 3:1- 30; II Samuel 5:1- 25; Exodus 1:1- 22) In spiritual sense, we also have kings in our hearts and in our lives that rules us and made us do things that are not pleasing to God.
