Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 26:1 KJV
[1] As snow in summer, and as rain in harvest, so honour is not seemly for a fool.

Honor is a strange word for some people including some of the politicians. When I was a little boy, I used to hear my parents say the phrase; "Palabra de honor" - "Word of honor" (I have Spanish blood on my mother's side). It's their byword when they talked about honesty, integrity, personal conviction and dignity...

I- We must "Honor" God- Revelation 7:12 KJV [12] Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen. (Revelation 19:1; John 5:23)
II- We must "Honor" our parents- Exodus 20:12 KJV [12] Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.

III- We must "Honor" the pastors and preachers- 1 Timothy 5:17 KJV [17] Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.-  By Ely Roque Sagansay
