THE CHRISTIAN’s ABC’s LETTER “E” IS… - ENCOURAGE SOMEONE
“Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.”
The words, “comfort the feebleminded” here means, “encourage the fainthearted”. Are you someone who is an encourager, a motivator and someone who tried to lift up the spirit of others who are down hearted? Or you are the one who is on the opposite side. There are 2 ways that you can influence the people around you, it’s either you will influence them for good or for bad. It’s either you will destroy them by discouraging them, or build them up by just giving them words of encouragement and comfort. (Deuteronomy 1: 28- 30; 38) 28- “Whither shall we go up? our brethren have discouraged our heart, saying, The people is greater and taller than we; the cities are great and walled up to heaven; and moreover we have seen the sons of the Anakims there. 29- Then I said unto you, Dread not, neither be afraid of them. 30- The LORD your God which goeth before you, he shall fight for you, according to all that he did for you in Egypt before your eyes; 38- But Joshua the son of Nun, which standeth before thee, he shall go in thither: encourage him: for he shall cause Israel to inherit it.
I wonder how many millions of people are so discouraged today; just because of something really bad and big happens in their life. People who lost their job, homes, business, love ones, car and even small stuff but with sentimental value. People can get discouraged because of someone or something. We can give them an encouragement to keep on keeping on and to go on and not to quit. And we can also encourage those who can’t even take a step forward, because of discouragement, depression, problems, trials and sufferings. Please enjoy these beautiful words of encouragement:

The Word of God will give us an encouragement, we need to read and meditate on His Holy Word. We can also be encouraged in the work or service of the Lord.
(II Chronicles 31: 4; 35: 2) 4- “Moreover he commanded the people that dwelt in Jerusalem to give the portion of the priests and the Levites, that they might be encouraged in the law of the LORD.” 2- And he set the priests in their charges, and encouraged them to the service of the house of the LORD,”
