MOMS AND WIVES: ARE YOU THE WINNER OF 4 “P’s”?

10- 10-10 MI DAILY DEVOTION (I Peter 3:1- 2)
MOMS AND WIVES: ARE YOU THE WINNER OF 4 “P’s”?
1- “Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives; 2- While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear.”
If you’re a husband, you will love see your wife having these 4 “P’s” which I know would be the desire of every husband. And your desire is for your relationship as husband and wife to be happier and stronger even as the days go by.
PURE- (I Peter 3: 4- 5) 4- “But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price. 5- For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands:” Do we have that hidden man of the heart? Whatever we have in our hearts will manifest in our outside appearance. People only see the outside part of your body but God sees the heart. If you are single or even married, stay pure in the sight of God and man.
PERFECT- What do I mean of perfect? Does it mean that you have to be perfect as a mother or a wife like you never sin or make any mistake? In theology, we call it “sinless perfection” like the Lord Jesus Christ or the angels in heaven. (I Peter 5: 10) “But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.” It means you grow mature and it’s true to all of us Christians as how God has worked in us and through us and made us grow or mature after we went through suffering.
PRODUCTIVE- How would you know if a woman, a mother or your wife is really productive? Is there a certain kind of level or spirituality? How would you know if you’re productive as a wife and a mother? Or if you’re a single person, can you gauge yourself if you’re productive or not? Is there any area in our lives as a married man or woman that could tell that we’re really effective and productive? It would be a great treasure for a husband and children to see their mother as a productive Sunday school teacher, house wife, secretary or just an ordinary mother who loves the Lord. It will even be better if you’re productive at home, at work and in the ministry. Now, I suggest that you read (Proverbs 31: 10- 31) really slow and you will see the real picture of a productive wife and a mother.
POSITIVE- Sometimes it’s the Dad that is really so negative, but there are wives that are so negative too. They even question their husband’s pay check like their husband has the control on how much their company or their boss’ should write down on their pay check as their pay for a week or two. It’s so annoying working and being with negative people like even having all the blessings and answered prayers in their hands, they still question such blessing and answered prayers. Here’s a good example of what I was saying, (Acts 12: 11- 16) 11- “And when Peter was come to himself, he said, Now I know of a surety, that the Lord hath sent his angel, and hath delivered me out of the hand of Herod, and from all the expectation of the people of the Jews. 12- And when he had considered the thing, he came to the house of Mary the mother of John, whose surname was Mark; where many were gathered together praying. 13- And as Peter knocked at the door of the gate, a damsel came to hearken, named Rhoda. 14- And when she knew Peter's voice, she opened not the gate for gladness, but ran in, and told how Peter stood before the gate. 15- And they said unto her, Thou art mad. But she constantly affirmed that it was even so. Then said they, It is his angel. 16- But Peter continued knocking: and when they had opened the door, and saw him, they were astonished.”
