“If ye abide in me, and my
words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.”
(John 15:7 KJV)
When we arrived from our mission trip in
the Philippines, I had a problem with my cell phone. I only received the
incoming messages from facebook, but I can’t make an outgoing call. I looked at
my iphone like a piece of junk. It was like a useless, nice piece of junk. No
matter how great the promises of God to us are, and no matter how precious the
Word of God is; if we don’t use it and don’t exercise what it says it would
mean nothing to us. Apostle Paul says; “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding
abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh
in us, 21- Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages,
world without end. Amen.” (Ephesians 3:20 KJV)
God is able to do exceeding abundantly
above all that we ask or think… and the only way to disable God’s exceeding abundance blessings is for us not
to ask or pray. And we can disable God’s working power in us and in our
churches by lack of prayer. Jesus said; “And whatsoever ye shall ask in
my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.14- If ye
shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.” (John 14:13-14 KJV)
