“Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle
of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect, and the acknowledging
of the truth which is after godliness; 2- In hope of eternal life, which God,
that cannot lie, promised before the world began; 3- But hath in due times
manifested his word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to
the commandment of God our Saviour;” (Titus 1:1- 3)
Salvation is free for all, but it costs
the Father His one and only Son- the Lord Jesus Christ. And it costs Christ His
life, suffering and pain beyond our imagination. Christian’s hope is in the
Lord. We have our hope in the foundation which God has built even before He
created the world. We know we were born again, but many are not aware of their
calling. As Christians, were called to serve and to preach and teach the Word of
God by any means. Christians were commanded by the Lord to “GO”. God expect us
to be committed to His cause. The Lord called us and He wants for us to
continue in His grace and service. We must learn to keep on keeping on not for
ourselves, but for His cause at any costs.
Notice the testimony of Apostle Paul in
(II Timothy 2:10- 12) “But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life,
purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience, 11- Persecutions,
afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what
persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me. 12- Yea, and
all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.”
