MI DAILY DEVOTION
APPROVAL!!!
(Matthew 25:21) “His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.”
“Approval”- a common word used in credit, in job applications, in sports, at work, in training, in military and even at home and at church. Do we need someone’s approval before we do things for the Lord? Do we need someone’s approval to succeed? Do we need someone to give us a thumbs’ up before we take a step up? Is it necessary for us to be accepted before we will do our own things for the Lord and His work or ministry? We don’t need someone to agree with what we are doing. We don’t need our friends and superior to please us and agree with us before we do things and step up to the next level for God. We are not in a movie reviews where we need a thumbs’ up so people will buy our movie. We are at war against the enemy of our Lord. And we are serving God to please, honor and glorify His holy name. You may get a thumbs’ down from friends and fellow workers, but if you have the Lord’s thumbs’ up, you get up and pursue that dreams, that vision and what you are doing for the Lord!
(Colossians 3:17;23) 17- “And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. 23- And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;”
