MI DAILY DEVOTION
REVIVAL- IT’S ABOUT THE GLORY OF GOD!!!
(II Chronicles 7:1- 3) 1- “Now when Solomon had made an end of praying, the fire came down from heaven, and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the LORD filled the house 2- And the priests could not enter into the house of the LORD, because the glory of the LORD had filled the LORD'S house. 3- And when all the children of Israel saw how the fire came down, and the glory of the LORD upon the house, they bowed themselves with their faces to the ground upon the pavement, and worshipped, and praised the LORD, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.”
“Revival starts from the heart of a Christian who humbly prayed to God in repentance and with a broken heart for the Lord, in His Word and a desire to worship the Lord in Spirit and in truth.” ElyRS
“Revival is the inner longing of God’s people for His presence and glory.” ElyRS
“Don’t expect revival if you have an unforgiving spirit with your spouse, church members of fellow Christians.” ElyRS
“Don’t let yourself be comfortable seating in a dead church or a church where you can’t even feel the presence and glory of God.” ElyRS
(II Chronicles 7:14) “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
