“SIN”- IS IT THE HEART OF THE PROBLEM OR THE PROBLEM OF THE HEART?

“SIN”- IS IT THE HEART OF THE PROBLEM OR THE PROBLEM OF THE HEART?
(Romans 5:12) “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:”

Sin was the only reason why we have problems in this world. That may have surprised you! But if Adam and Eve did not commit sin at the Garden of Eden, Satan will still be the prince of the darkness but will not have the control of this world and the life of man. It was God’s plan and God allowed it to happen. May this will help you fully understand the sin problem. Let me share to you a brief outline about sin. First, Sin is everywhere, it’s universal. (Romans 3:10; 23) Secondly, sin is evil. (Romans 5:12- 21; Ephesians 2:1- 3) Thirdly, sin is the Lord’s enemy. (I Corinthians 15:54- 56; Romans 8:1- 13)
We may think that we are morally good. Those who are good were called; “In good moral standing…” or “A decent man with dignity and integrity…” But that does not make us pure and holy before God. That was the reason why Jesus came to die for our sins so we could receive forgiveness of our sins, if we come to Him in humility and repentance. On Christmas day, people all over the world celebrate Christmas without knowing that He came for this purpose. (Matthew 1:21) “And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.”
