GOD AND PRAYER- THE RESOLUTION TO A DISTURBED NATION

SATURDAY
MI DAILY DEVOTION
GOD AND PRAYER- THE RESOLUTION TO A DISTURBED NATION

(II Chronicles 7:14) “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

People are seeking for something new; we are seeking for something exciting or something that can satisfy our longing and lonely heart, but we’re not seeking the truth of God, His will and His Word in our lives. Seek God in your everyday’s life. Seek God’s righteousness, seek God’s face. In the Book of (Matthew 6:33) it says, “But seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” You seek God’s face as you seek His will, His Word, His Kingdom, His smile at you as you follow Him and pray and just be on your knees. We would not have 9-11 if we have learned to practice 7-7-11. It’s the (7- seven-eleven) principles. (Matthew 7:7-11) 7- “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 8- For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. 9- Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? 10- Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? 11- If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?”
