“If my people, which are
called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and
turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive
their sin, and will heal their land.” (II Chronicles 7:14 KJV)
The whole world is going through economic crises.
Some may blame the government for the financial, moral, and spiritual problems
of the land. We have problems that some people don’t even care about. The
problem that really affects millions of individuals, homes, churches and even
businesses is the problem of the heart. The corrupt and deteriorated spiritual
condition of man is one of the causes of the problems of our country.
“Righteousness exalteth a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.”
(Proverbs 14:34 KJV)
People have a choice between God and Satan, between
evil and good, and between a country that will stand in righteousness or sin. We
either stand for what is right and for the revival of our land or we will fall
with those whose lives are wasted in sin and misery. We must exercise our
freedom wisely with wisdom and prudence of which our children could be proud
of. You will either stand for God or you will just go with the flow. According
to Hugh Pyle, “Historians reveals that fallen nations have first had a deep
preoccupation with sex.”
I hope we will all do our best to save the spiritual
distress, and the moral decay of this country and the whole world. We can’t win
the whole world, but we can win our own small world. As Christians, we must set
an example for the unbelieving world and others to follow! One of the saddest words that came out from the
mouth of God; “And I sought for a man among them,
that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land,
that I should not destroy it: but I found none.” (Ezekiel 22:30 KJV)
