“7- Beloved, let us love one another: for love
is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.” (I John 4:7- 8 King James Version)
We love the beauty of the universe, the deepest
depth of the sea, and the beauty of nature. But God loves us as human being in
spite of our sinfulness. Although we were unworthy of His great love, God
choose to love us, and He loves us unconditionally. He has a set plan for us
even before the foundation of the world, it means before we were born.
(Jeremiah 29:11) He expressed such when He gave us His only begotten Son. The
Bible says; “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John
3:16 KJV)
Jesus the Son of God gave His life for us. “As
the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. If ye
keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my
Father's commandments, and abide in his love.” (John 15:9- 10 KJV) God the
Father showed us His love through the Lord Jesus Christ. It was not the
Hollywood type of love. It cost God the Father His one and only Son. He
suffered the suffering no man has ever been through in the entire history.
The Scriptures gave us the assurance of such
love and eternal life in heaven, it says; “10- He that believeth on the Son of
God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a
liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. 11- And
this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in
his Son. 12- He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of
God hath not life. 13- These things have I written unto you that believe on the
name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye
may believe on the name of the Son of God. (I John 5:10- 15 KJV)
