“Judge not, that ye be not judged. 2- For with what judgment ye
judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured
to you again. 3- And why
beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the
beam that is in thine own eye?” (Matthew 7:1- 3 King James Version)
But it’s one of the things that can work
in the minds of others that are beyond our control- to judge us. I am
accountable to God for my actions and reactions. Be it good or evil, right or
wrong, and just or unjust. One day, I will be standing before the Judge of
judges. The accounting of what I’ve done, how I made used of what a have, my
stewardship as a husband, a father, a minister, and that will go on and on… He
will do the same to you!
We can make others judge us by our attitude, the bad character
that we knowingly and consciously do in public. The things that we did whether
in public or in private, the evil deeds, even the good deeds and the righteous
living... God will have His own accounting for that! The Bible says; “There’s
nothing covered that shall not be revealed…”
Let God be the Judge, because we are all
accountable to God for the things He entrusted to us, for the things and
talents that are in our control; it is therefore best for us to be prudent, be
careful with how we conduct ourselves, and be God centered. We cannot please
everybody, but we can please God by living righteously, justly, and in the
spirit of humility and the fear of the Lord. Prayerfully ask the Lord to search
your heart, and look up to God to help you not be judgmental. The Bible says; “8- He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and
what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to
walk humbly with thy God?” (Micah 6:8 KJV)
