"20- Wherefore
by their fruits ye shall know them. 21- Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord,
Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my
Father which is in heaven. 22- Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord,
have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and
in thy name done many wonderful works? 23- And then will I profess unto them, I
never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” (Matthew 7:20- 23 King James
Version)
The devil can offer
you the world, its wealth, the great works and accomplishment that no one has
ever done yet. He can give you power and prosperity beyond your imagination. He
can make you someone you never even dreamed of. Satan will do exactly what
you wanted it to be. You want fame, fortune or the fulfillment of your fleshly
desires; He can do that for you! But there’s a catch. You have to submit to his
will and evil purposes. Satan offered it to Jesus when he came to Him to seduce
Him to submit to his evil desire. (Matthew 4:1- 11)
But these are the
things the enemy can’t do for you; he can’t make you a believer of the Lord
Jesus Christ. Satan can’t save your soul from eternal death and the punishment
of hell. He can’t help you get right with God. He is against your desire to
have the right attitude with yourself, to others, with God and His Word. He is
not into walking with you in good harmony with your family and friends. He is
against your desire of delighting and devoting your all to God. He is not for worship, fellowship, and he is against in
giving our utmost praise and honor to our King! Satan hates it, if it’s about
revival in our heart and in the house of God. Our encouragement is in Romans
8:31 which says; “What shall
we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?”
