Faith of God’s People

“29- By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry land: which the Egyptians assaying to do were drowned. 30- By faith the walls of Jericho fell down, after they were compassed about seven days. 31- By faith the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not, when she had received the spies with peace.” (Hebrews 11:29- 31 King James Version)

God gave the Israelites blessings, good and great people to fulfill His promised to them. He gave them things and people that cannot be numbered. Our limited minds cannot fathom the goodness, the blessings, and the things that He gave His children and chosen people- the Israelites. God gave them Moses to cross the Red sea, and He replaced Moses to Joshua to help the children of Israel cross over the Jordan River to enter the promise land. As believers, we must step forward towards God given goals and blessings in our lives, especially in our spiritual lives. We have to claim it for God and for His honor which surely will benefit us, our family and even our very own country. It happens in the life of Moses and his people.

The promised of God to His chosen people when He spoke to Joshua; “3- Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses. 8- This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. 9- Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.” (Joshua 1:3; 8- 9 KJV)
