God Forgave Us of Our Sins

“7- But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. 8- If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9- If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (I John 1:7- 9 King James Version)

God the Father called Christ to the task to pay for our sins. We don’t need to sacrifice or make sacrifices to be forgiven. We don’t need to work and work hard to go to heaven. Christ doesn’t need our religion and religious ritual, because Christ is our Religion. The weighing of holiness over our sins is irrelevant. If Christ will weigh the good versus the evil in us by His Holiness, everyone will come short. The Bible says; “For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.” (Romans 5:10 KJV)

The Apostle Paul stated it clearly when he said; “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” (Romans 3:10; 23 KJV) Christ is the Supreme good and the only good. He is Holy and He is God. Christ reconciled us to God by His death on the cross. The Scriptures says; “Wherefore in all things it behooved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.” (Hebrews 2:17 KJV) “And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;” (II Corinthians 5:18-20 KJV)
