Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 17:1 KJV
"Better is a dry morsel, and quietness therewith, than an house full of sacrifices with strife."

The Old Testament is covered with all kinds of sacrifices of all kinds of animals and birds. But it has changed at the fulfillment of Jesus' birth. Christmas season is always a season of love and giving, but it is actually a step to Christ's sacrifice for our sins. The Bible says; " (Matthew 1:21 KJV) "And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins." His sacrifice is for our salvation. His sacrifice at cross is the victory over sins. His sacrifice put an end to ceremonial sacrifices during the Old Testament times. The Bible says; (Hebrews 7:27 KJV) "Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this he did once, when he offered up himself."
