Proverbs 27:1 KJV
"Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth."
Boasting comes in 2 different directions.- It's vertical and horizontal. It's boasting in God or boasting for self. Some people boast for self gratification and pride, while some for God and God alone. (II Timothy 3: 2; James 4: 16) They boast to honor the Lord. That's exactly what Apostle Paul did when he talked about what God did in his life as the Lord's servant.
