"Hear, ye children, the instruction of a father, and attend to know understanding."
"Hear" "Listen" "Take heed" "Give ear" may have some similar meanings but God expect good and fruitful results. It's an obvious reason why God bids us or commanded us to hear, listen, and obey His voice and instructions. He wants us to be in His will by giving Him our ears for His Word. To listen and hear Him (God) speak will help us gain His wisdom. Be open, and try to have an open ear and an open heart. If our attitude were like of Samuel the prophet...
