MONDAY
HE IS THE GOD OF OUR TIMES
(Psalm 90:4) For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.
This year (2012) is in the Lord’s calendar for men. The Lord’s calendar for us is from generations to generations and from eternity past to eternity future. God is in charge of our times here on earth and He is in charge of our New Year. If God is in control of our days and He can’t be controlled of time and space and can’t be controlled of men and circumstances; then it is just right and good for us to let Him control that which is in our hands, those which we can easily control and all the things, the circumstances and the difficult people that are beyond our control. Notice the prayer of Moses; LORD, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations. (Psalm 90:1) and take note of what he said in verse 4- For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past. Time and space cannot contain our God; but He is too small and humble to come down and live within us and come in into our hearts when we received Him as our Lord and Savior.
Let us bury 2011 in the Lord’s mercy and grace and let us delete the memory of 2011 and upload the new apps for 2012 with the apps of God. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. (Psalm 91:4) The APPS of God is His Atonement, Power, Protection and Supplication. Let us claim His atonement on the cross for our sins. Let’s claim His power to overcome the evil one. Let’s continue to trust Him for our protection against temptation and against the wiles of the enemy. Let’s trust the Lord to supply our daily needs. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. 16- With long life will I satisfy him, and show him my salvation. (Psalm 91:15- 16)
