LOOKING GOOD IN 2012, BECAUSE WE HAVE A GOOD GOD

MI DAILY DEVOTION
WEDNESDAY
LOOKING GOOD IN 2012, BECAUSE WE HAVE A GOOD GOD
Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God. (Psalm 90:2)

May we all feel good, be good and will stay in good shape in every area of our lives this year and the years to come. We are all dependent to a good God and in His mercy. We are serving a living God and a God of the whole creations.

Matthew Henry wrote; “To give God the glory of his eternity (v. 2): Before the mountains were brought forth, before he made the highest part of the dust of the world (as it is expressed, Prov. 8:26), before the earth fell in travail, or, as we may read it, before thou hadst formed the earth and the world (that is, before the beginning of time) thou hadst a being; even from everlasting to everlasting thou art God, an eternal God, whose existence has neither its commencement nor its period with time, nor is measured by the successions and revolutions of it, but who art the same yesterday, to-day, and forever, without beginning of days, or end of life, or change of time. Note, Against all the grievances that arise from our own mortality, and the mortality of our friends, we may take comfort from God’s immortality. We are dying creatures, and all our comforts in the world are dying comforts, but God is an ever living God, and those shall find him so who have him for theirs.” (The Bible Collection) God is our only source of comfort and strength; be it in sorrow or success, in pain or prosperity and in our bad times and in good times. May we look up to God in every circumstances and situations that we are in and make Him our refuge! The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him. (Nahum 1:7)
