“THAT THY FAITH FAIL NOT…”
(Luke 22:32) But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.
Faith in the New Testament as mentioned from the lips of the Lord Jesus Christ; Have faith in God…, O ye of little faith…, If you have faith as a grain of mustard seed…, Where is your faith… and Thy faith hath made thee whole… Only you can tell which of the given phrases applies to you in your daily walk with God.
F- Faithfully trust the Lord for your controlled and uncontrolled circumstances in life. When Jesus heard these things, he marvelled at him, and turned him about, and said unto the people that followed him, I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel. (Luke 7:9)
A- Actively apply the Word of God in your daily Christian life. This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. (Joshua 1:8)
I- Intentionally and intensively serve and honor the Lord in spite of the negative circumstances that you may have. Nevertheless my brethren that went up with me made the heart of the people melt: but I wholly followed the LORD my God. (Joshua 14:8) Joshua followed the Lord in spite of his struggles and difficult people around him.
T- Thank God for the problems, the people and the privilege to serve God. Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. (Philippians 4:6)
H- Hope in the Lord in spite of your hopeless situation. Now faith is ..the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1)
