JESUS FIRST IN 2012
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. (Jeremiah 29:11) I like the NIV version of this verse; 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
According to Bestfindit.com; The world population growth is seen to reach 7 billion this year 2011 as reported by various news sites, July 29, 2011. The Population Division of the Department of Economic and Social Affairs of the UN, predicted that world population will reach 10.1 billion in 2100. What’s great about it is the fact that God knows each individual before they were even born. God has also a plan for us and He wants us to prosper. I wonder why millions of people are living a hopeless life and they are living their life like there’s no future into it. The way I observed the trends of the world’s economy; it may look like it’s so practical and human to be hopeless and be negative about the future and the future of our children. But the Lord said; …plans to give you hope and a future. I posted this on Facebook the other day to ask people all over the world to join me to put Jesus first in their life at the start of the New Year. “GIVE 30 MINUTES OF YOUR TIME THIS NEW YEAR… SET UP YOUR PRIORITIES IN LIFE; Putting God first and putting Him in a right perspective. January 01, 2012 is first Sunday of the month and of the year. We should put Jesus first in our life, in our worship, in our decisions and desires. He should be first in your job, in your ministry and in your family. Jesus must be first in your money, in your business and in your goals to success… He must be first-” But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. (Matthew 6:33)
