WHAT OR WHO ARE IN YOUR PRIORITIES?

MI DAILY DEVOTION
TUESDAY
WHAT OR WHO ARE IN YOUR PRIORITIES?
Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established. (Proverbs 16:3)

John Maxwell wrote; “If you think you can, you can, If you think you are, you are”. You can know a man by the way he puts his priorities in place. If you set aside whatever appointment you have ahead of your dog or your pet, then you know what’s more important to you.
PUT GOD FIRST- But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. (Matthew 6:33) God knows that we are a needy people. He knows that we would need of almost everything someday therefore, before He created us; God created our needs first. God wants us to put Him first in our lives. No matter what kind of life you may have lived here on earth, but at the end of the day; we will all end up in the Lord’s fingertips.
PUT YOUR FAMILY NEXT TO GOD- And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD. (Joshua 24:15) It’s obvious that we have the freedom to choose and to serve; but we have to choose the right way, the right God, the right decision, the right LORD to serve. We have to put our time, our life and our whole being to the one who knows our tomorrow and He is the one who holds our hands as we walk to the future. Imagine the countless blessings of serving the LORD and the joy to be with your family in heaven someday. It’s so easy to get distracted with so many things and the circumstances around us trying divert our attention from God. Stay focus and be determined. Love your family and don’t get distracted!
And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God. (Luke 9:62)
