“WALK BEFORE ME…”

MI DAILY DEVOTION
MONDAY
“WALK BEFORE ME…”
(Psalms 116: 9) I will walk before the Lord in the land of the living.

Imagine Abraham was already 90 years old and he still has to live the life God wanted for him to be. He still has to live a life that is pleasing to God and a life that is perfect in the sight of God and man. The common excused is… “I’m too old for this…”

We must walk with honesty and in integrity. But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity; redeem me, and be merciful unto me. (Psalms 26: 11) In terms on how you treat yourself. In terms on how we treat our employees, our subordinate, our job, our attitude on money, as well as small things that may not so essential or important to others or to yourself.

We must walk humbly with God. He hath shown thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God? (Micah 6: 8)
The Lord wants for us to do what He requires of us. God wants for us to live a humble life. Let us boast in the Lord and Him alone. It’s alright to accept the good commendation and positive comments from people, but be sure to offer to God all the honor, glory and praise. We must walk in humility of heart and mind. The wisest king wrote; Let another man praise thee, and not thine own mouth; a stranger, and not thine own lips. (Proverbs 27:2) Peter said; Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: (I Peter 5:6)
IF YOU WANT TO BOAST, YOU BOAST IN THE LORD AND IN THE POWER OF HIS MIGHT. Apostle Paul said; Serving the Lord with all humility of mind, and with many tears, and temptations, which befell me by the lying in wait of the Jews: (Acts 20:19)
