“Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise:
When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she
was found with child of the Holy Ghost.” (Matthew 1:18 King James Version)
The Spirit of Christmas is about the joy and the
love of Jesus- God’s gift from above. He filled the Spirit of Christmas with trust,
peace and serenity. Through the blessed child in a manger our war to cease, and
love indeed increased. That’s the true Spirit of Christmas.
The Spirit of Christmas made the purest of
heart, In Him our love to impart. Christmas is sharing too, through kindness,
by being forgiving and gentle, and in our good deeds we know. In submission we
are ready to do for Jesus and for the whole world too.
The Lord Jesus Christ is the main Character.
Joseph and Mary played the best part I know. But we cannot ignore the role of
the Holy Spirit of God. And the Lord gave us the blessings of Christmas by the
revelation of the Word of God.
I conclude that if you are out of touch of
what Christmas is all about, the touch of Christmas can be missed, and its
purpose for you is a loss; but not on
those who believe in Him whose birth brings miracle and love.
If you don’t believe in Christmas, it means you
don’t believe in the birth of our Savior-the Lord Jesus Christ. It also means
that you don’t believe in the miracle that God has done through Mary by virgin
birth. As the Bible says; “And
the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.
31- And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and
shalt call his name JESUS.” (Luke 1:30- 31 KJV)
