I CAN’T IMAGINE ME… WITHOUT YOU, LORD!

04- 27- 11 MI DAILY DEVOTION (Isaiah 41:9- 10)
I CAN’T IMAGINE ME… WITHOUT YOU, LORD!
9- “Thou whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called thee from the chief men thereof, and said unto thee, Thou art my servant; I have chosen thee, and not cast thee away. 10- Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”
Where would I be without the Lord Jesus Christ? It’s because of Him and because:
We have faith in the purposes of God. (Romans 8:28) “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
We trust in the power of God. (I Corinthians 1:24- 25) 24- “But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God. 25- Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.”
We believe in the promises of God (Romans 4:18- 21) 18- “Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be. 19- And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb: 20- He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; 21- And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.”
We rely on the provision of God. (Philippians 4:19; Matthew 6:25- 26) 19- “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” 25- “Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? 26- Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?”
We entrust our life and future in the hands and plans of God. (Jeremiah 29:11- 13) 11- “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. 12- Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. 13- And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.”
We rest in the presence of God. (Exodus 33:14) “And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.”
We are pleasing the Lord our God when we exercise our faith. (Hebrews 11:6) “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”
