THE SOLID FOUNDATION, THE SOLID ROCK-JESUS!!!

9- “Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,”

The Hope of eternal life… The Grace, Mercy, Love and the Peace of the Lord Jesus Christ were the components or the reasons that made the Hope of eternal life so easy to believe in. We have a promised to discover and we can be certain of what we have in Christ Jesus our Lord. This is God’s general blessing for the lost world. We can have God’s salvation through the Death, Burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. But someone has to decide to believe in and to receive that promised by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. You can’t have that life unless you take a step of faith. Notice here the Hope of our salvation is the Solid Rock. This is one of my favorite hymns that really ministered to my heart.

but wholly trust in Jesus’ Name.

Praise God!!! Our salvation is in the good, right and Solid Foundation; the Lord Jesus Christ our Blessed Hope. He is the Rock of Ages. Why would you trust and even entrust your life to a man made religion, when you have a Heaven made religion through our Lord Jesus Christ. Why would you put your trust and even entrust your life and the life to come to something, when you can put your trust to Someone- Jesus our Savior. Why would you love the sinking sand, when you have the Solid Rock- the Lord Jesus Christ; He is the King of Glory, the Lord God Almighty! (Isaiah 28:16) “Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.” (I Corinthians 3:10-11) “According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. 11- For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.”
