Tell God Why You Don't Want to Go to Church!

Did you know that while Christians are brutally killed and badly persecuted by the ISIS and by bad elements of our society in the Middle East, Africa, and other parts of the world; some Christians, and churches are in disagreement, divided and in disunity, and some Christians don't go to church. Why? And here are some reasons why many churches are dying and Christians are lukewarm in the Lord.

1- Many Christians don't agree with the color of the church carpets, the color of the paint on their church building, the design of their stage, etc. And they don't want to go to church for that reason. Their relationship with God and other Christians are affected. They would rather miss prayer meeting and Sunday worship than coming to church with their disappointment. It's just weird.

2- Some don't like the sequence of the program, the music and musical instruments, the way the pastor preaches, the use of power point, special numbers, etc. And that's their best excuse not to be at church. They missed the great worship, the good Christian music, and the preaching of the Word of God. And still be fine for them- but not with God.

3- Others quit church or quit in serving the Lord through their church, because they don't like the Sunday school teachers, the leaders, the deacons or church officers. But they watch the movie and the news with the newscasters and guests different from their political party and with different viewpoint in life. They lost the opportunity to serve the Lord and others. What a bad choice!

4- Others got stumbled because the pastor did not shake their hands or say "Hello" after the worship service. No one will shake your hands at the mall, grocery stores, theater for visiting their business and buying their products. If they did, it's because they just made some dough from you. What's the deal? It's good for you! You saved yourself from the pastor's virus or you took caution of getting some of the bacteria in his hands. Remember he wiped his saliva, his sweat and tears while he was preaching.

5- Your church members won't come to church because they are not comfortable seeing their brother or sister in Christ at church. I wish they will not come to a party where they will see a lot of hypocrites, specially in the movie Theatres and business establishments. Next time you come to church, wear a bandana to help cover your eyes or super dark sunglasses, that might help.

7- They will not come to church for worship because the senior pastor or their favorite preacher is not preaching that Sunday. They just want entertainment and not the feeding of the Word of God. I suggest they invite their favorite preacher in their home for Bible study or discipleship.

8- The unacceptable excuses of not coming to church; because no one would be left behind to their house, their pet/s, their visitors, or business. Tell your boss or employer those excuses and you will be fired the next day. God is merciful and gracious.

9- I don't have an offering and a nice clothes. Or my shoes, my car, my... my... are broken. If it happens during the week, I'm sure you will find ways to fix whatever the costs may be so you could be at work on time. It means church and God is not your first priority.

10- I'm just so tired to go to church and the weather doesn't cooperate with me right now. Tell that to your boss or employer or business partner and let your pastor know what would be their  remarks or what will they say to you! All your pastor could do is pray for you!

These type of Christians are not serious about the Lord, about worship and CHRISTIANITY. They either need to go back to the basic, they need revival, they are just playing Christians, or they need to visit the places where ISIS are present and see how other Christians died for standing on what they believe in and for the Lord Jesus Christ.

YOU ARE FREE TO PREACH, TEACH, AND SHARE IF YOU CARE.
