Wisdom of the Day from Mi Daily Devotion

"A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold." (Proverbs 22:1 KJV)

"A good name..." "Great riches..." "Loving favour..." "Silver and gold". These are all precious in every individual and families. And I assume everyone desires to have one of them. Wherever and no matter what family background you're coming from, you either want or need a good name, great riches, loving favour, and the last but not the least, silver and gold.

If you have the last three and lost the first one, you lost everything. You can take your good name with you in the grave, and people will read your name in your epitaph with great admiration, and good reflection of the life and legacy that you may leave behind you. But the last three will all vanished in the process of time.- By Ely Roque Sagansay
