Wisdom of the Day from Mi Daily Devotion

"The proverbs of Solomon. A wise son maketh a glad father: but a foolish son is the heaviness of his mother." (Proverbs 10:1 KJV)

There are smart sons, good sons, talented  sons, etc. but to be a wise son is different and of great value and a great blessing. Jesus said; "Be wise as serpent and harmless as dove". Solomon said; "A wise son maketh a glad father..." King Solomon was talking from his personal experienced. He was the wisest man who ever lived on earth, and indeed he made his father David a glad and fulfilled father.

A wise son or daughter will simply do that which is right. They will make good and right decisions, and be in the center of God's will. They will not do and say something that will displease God and their parents. The foolish son will not only affects the emotion of the parents but their bright future.- By Ely Roque Sagansay
