Wisdom of the Day from Mi Daily Devotion
"The king’s heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will." (Proverbs 21:1 KJV)
The heart is the center and the life of every human beings. The physical heart is one of the indicator and part of human bodies that help explains the physical conditions of man. It does the same to spiritual life. Anyone can control any parts of our body, but our heart is unsearchable and uncontrollable- be it the spiritual hearts or the physical or literal hearts. I heard a lot of people says that heart attack is one of the most deceitful and silent killer of all human illness.
So is the spiritual heart of man. Only God knows our heartbeats and what's inside of it. The Bible says, "He will give us the desires of our heart." He also said that 'the heart is deceitful above all things... Who can know it?' Indeed God is the only One who can know our hearts. But God can also take control of human hearts if He decides to do so. (Exodus 4:21; 7:3; 13- 14- 22; 8:15- 19)- By Ely Roque Sagansay
