Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

"He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy." (Proverbs 29:1 KJV)

You can only take the horse or the cow to the green pastures or to the water, but you can't make the animals eat or drink. If you are in a situation where you have exerted everything you have to win an individual for right and Godly path, and the resistance is still on your way- such individual may have hardened his mind, his heart and his neck.

The consequences may not be instant or fatal at present, but in the process, it could be painful in some ways. It is sad but the Bible is never wrong and partial. The only words you can put in their minds and tongue are regrets and resentment. God the Father has words for that during the times of Moses and the Israelites in the wilderness- "stiff- neck".
