Wisdom of the Day from Mi Daily Devotion

"Be not thou envious against evil men, neither desire to be with them." (Proverbs 24:1 KJV)

"...or desire to be with them. If you're a Christian, you absolutely have no business to be with people who are doing evil things no matter where you are and, what your financial, physical and political conditions may have been. Apostle Paul wrote; "Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14 KJV)

The successful evil persons will only enjoy and experience their short term glory, fame, and abundance; why desire to be with them and be envious of their temporary worldly success and blessings? May we will focus our eyes on Jesus. (Hebrews 12:1- 2). It's not what we have acquired that matters, but what God has for us today and for eternity. (Mark 8:36)- By Ely Roque Sagansay
