Wisdom of the Day from Mi Daily Devotion

"Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth." (Proverbs 27:1 KJV)

People can boast of their past, their present accomplishments, and may boast of something that's out of their reach yet. Boasting can be divided into 3 parts or categories; for self, about others, and to God and for God. Boasting can be selfish or selfless. Our lives is in the hand of God, and if we boast; we boast of Him, and what He has done in us and through us.

We are a people of hope and with a wishful hearts and minds. And we are a people with the desire to be on the top of everything. Some even desire to put the future in their hands already. Unfortunately, some would even boast of the things and future that they don't have in their hands yet. (Proverbs 3:5- 6)- By Ely Roque Sagansay
