“24- By faith Moses,
when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter;
25- Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy
the pleasures of sin for a season; 26- Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater
riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompense of
the reward.” (Hebrews 11:24- 26 King James Version)
Dr. Jerry Falwell said;
“Faith means holding on to God right to the last moment, knowing He will never
let you down.” Faith can strengthen weak homes, and make an individual stand
for God with personal and strong conviction. We can live in abundance without
God, without love and without faith; but I’ll assure, everything will have its
end. But faith in God will end in God, but the flesh will cease in the dust. Someone
said, “Faith is making real what cannot be seen or sensed with our human
faculties.” Christianity is about faith in an unseen God, and unseen promises
of God. We appreciate and practice faith in our daily walk with the Lord. Faith
is not what you think or feel in whatever situation you are in right now, otherwise
it’s not faith at all. Faith is letting the Holy Spirit of God work in you and
through you, as you claim what God has promised in His Word.
It was not easy for Moses to trade the riches of Egypt for God and His
cause. God used Moses to influence and lead the Israelites to get out of the
land of Egypt. His faith in God made it possible that which is impossible in
human eyes and in man’s power. It was the faith of Moses to God that made them
follow him to get out of Egypt. If all you see are dark clouds and dark paths,
that’s the time where you have to put your trust in God. The Bible says; “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart;
and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6- In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy
paths.” (Proverbs
3:5- 6 KJV)
