“8- Also I heard the voice
of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I,
Here am I; send me. 9- And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed,
but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not. 10- Make the heart of
this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see
with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and
convert, and be healed.” (Isaiah 6:8- 10 King James Version)
God wants for us to fulfill or accomplish the
mission faithfully and willingly. He prepared for us the unseen vision from
others that we may accomplish for His name, honor and glory. We have a mission
and it’s not earthly but heavenly. It’s the same
mission God pre-ordained and entrusted to Isaiah, and other missionaries in His
field that He is calling us to obey and accomplish. He wants for us to go and
preach or share the gospel, the good news to every man and woman, to every kids,
tongues and nations. (Romans 10:13- 17 KJV)
Millions are living in poverty and in
misery all over the world. They are hungry and thirsty for the truth of the
Word of God. People are in great spiritual need and God may have been working
in their life and in their hearts. But God has to wait for many of us
Christians to response to His calling and command for us to “Go”. The keys to
the success in reaching the lost souls are obedience to His
command and His Word.
And we have a mission field and our mission field
will start from our own home and love ones, from our own backyard and
neighborhoods, in our community… and to the uttermost parts of the world. Notice
what Jesus said to His disciples and to every believer before He went up to
heaven, He said; “But ye shall receive power, after
that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in
Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of
the earth.” (Acts 1:8 KJV)
