From Salvation to Mission!

“And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.” (Psalm 1:3 King James Version)

When we place our faith in God for salvation; He was already there waiting for us to come to Him in repentance and faith. He did the same when He called us for His ministry, and He will do the same if you will follow Him today. What a promise that God has for us. God knows where we can serve Him best, and He knows what He has in stored for us in His kingdom here on earth as well as in heaven. And all we have to do is to obey Him and trust Him for the results.

Do you know God’s principles of mission when God called you to be a part of His kingdom? I did not know that when I followed Him. I do what He wants me to do, and I also followed my heart and passion. Let me answer this question in 2 simple words- “Faith and Obedience”. He wants us to trust Him and obey His will and His Word- the Bible. He wants us to make a big impact in our small world for His honor and glory. He will give you a special touch and lead you to His work and His will. God will give you the confirmation, and you will receive grace from the Lord. God’s timing is the results of His plan for our life. In Psalm 1:3 it says; “And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.”

You have to ask the Lord for the time and place where He would plant you and to where His will for you is. If you want to start the work or ministry in your church; He will give you the grace, the strength, and good foundation. You will be in a place where you could be an influence and be there to touch people’s lives. Notice what David said; “…and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.” Joshua wrote; “Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God iswith thee whithersoever thou goest.” (Joshua 1:9 KJV)

We are going to the Philippines next year (God willing) for a Mission trip. We are in need of Medical and Dental supplies for this trip on February 2015. We will also go to Cambodia for an extra trip. We are working with my daughter in law's relatives in Cambodia, with pastors and churches to help out and organize for the success of this trip.
